I Co-Designed and made this animatronic owl for a Christmas event for the Bakehouse Factory, She has a 5 Metre long wing span with each feather moving individually and phneumatics to make the wings lift up and down to simulate an owl in flight.

She also has separately blinking eyes and a motorised body tilt to go from perched to go flying position.

Made from a combination of materials:- Aluminium bar, steel, foam, plastazote, clay, worbla, fabrics, muslin, ply wood, wire...
